Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice optional, for brightness
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat completely dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear.
  • Whisk honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice (if using) in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  • Place shrimp in a single layer. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Don’t overcook.

  • Remove from heat. Top with fresh parsley and serve hot.
