Buttery Garlic Ribeye Steak
Buttery Garlic Ribeye Steak is a quick skillet dinner made with tender steak chunks seared until golden, then coated in a fragrant garlic butter sauce with parsley and a touch of heat. It is bold, satisfying, and ready in minutes.
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1½ pounds sirloin steak or strip loin tenderloin, rib eye, or strip steak, cut into small chunks
- ½ teaspoon black pepper adjust to taste
- ½ teaspoon salt or season as preferred
Garlic Butter Sauce
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley finely chopped
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat until shimmering, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Add steak in a single layer, season with salt and pepper, and sear for 2 minutes per side until browned and medium rare.
Transfer steak to a plate and let it rest briefly while preparing the sauce.
Lower heat to medium, add butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes, and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
