Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham Bake
This Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham Bake combines tender, savory ham with juicy pineapple chunks baked in a glossy brown sugar glaze. It’s simple, quick to prepare, and perfect for family dinners, holiday gatherings, or even office potlucks.
- 600 g cooked ham diced
- 1 can 570 g pineapple chunks, drained, reserve 60 ml juice
For the Sweet and Tangy Glaze:
- 110 g brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Dijon or yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 60 ml reserved pineapple juice
- ¼ tsp ground cloves optional
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 190°C and lightly grease a 33×23 cm baking dish.
In a bowl, whisk brown sugar, mustard, soy sauce, pineapple juice, and cloves until smooth and syrupy.
Arrange diced ham and drained pineapple chunks in the dish, then pour the glaze over and toss gently to coat.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until heated through and caramelized around the edges.
Let it rest a few minutes before serving so the glaze thickens and clings to the ham and pineapple.
