Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham Bake
Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham Bake is a sweet and savory dish with tender ham, juicy pineapple, and a tangy glaze—perfect for weeknight dinners or potlucks.
- 3 cups diced cooked ham
- 1 can 20 oz pineapple chunks, drained (reserve 1/4 cup of the juice)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard or yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ¼ tsp ground cloves optional but adds a warm spiced note
- Salt & pepper to taste
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish so nothing sticks and cleanup is easy.
In a medium bowl, stir together the brown sugar, mustard, soy sauce, 1/4 cup of the pineapple juice, and ground cloves (if using). Mix until smooth.
Add the ham and pineapple chunks to the baking dish. Pour the sauce on top, then gently stir everything so the ham and pineapple are well coated.
Place the dish in the oven, uncovered. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the ham is hot and the edges are slightly browned and caramelized.
Spoon it over warm rice or serve with roasted veggies or salad for a full meal.
