Best Cannoli Dip

Creamy and indulgent Best Cannoli Dip made with ricotta, mascarpone, and mini chocolate chips—an irresistible no-bake dessert perfect for parties, holidays, or a quick family treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz 225 g ricotta cheese, well drained
  • 8 oz 225 g mascarpone or cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract optional
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup chopped pistachios or walnuts optional, for garnish
  • For serving: waffle cones graham crackers, cookies, or fresh fruit

Instructions
 

  • Beat ricotta and mascarpone (or cream cheese) until smooth; drain ricotta first if watery for a thicker dip.
  • Add powdered sugar, vanilla, and almond extract; beat until light and fluffy, adjusting sweetness if needed.
  • Gently fold in mini chocolate chips, saving some for topping.
  • Chill for 1 hour to thicken and deepen the flavor (optional).
  • Transfer to a serving bowl, top with extra chocolate chips and nuts, and serve with cones, cookies, crackers, or fruit.
  • If too thick after chilling, stir in a little milk or cream to loosen.

Troubleshooting tip: If the dip feels too thick after chilling, stir in 1 tablespoon of milk or cream until it reaches your desired consistency.
