Beef Tips And Gravy
Beef Tips and Gravy is a cozy stovetop dish made with tender simmered stew meat in a rich, savory gravy perfect over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
For the Beef and Gravy
- 1 lb stew meat cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Brown the stew meat in a skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes until well-seared.
Stir together the gravy mix, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, and water until smooth.
Pour the gravy mixture over the beef and mix to coat evenly.
Simmer covered on low for 1½ to 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the meat is tender and the gravy thickens.
Adjust seasoning and serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
