Beef Tenderloin Crostini With Parmesan Cream Sauce
Beef Tenderloin Crostini with Parmesan Cream Sauce is a crispy, savory appetizer with tender beef and a rich, herby Parmesan sauce—ideal for any gathering!
- 1 baguette
- 1 pound beef tenderloin
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- Fresh parsley
Toast the Crostini: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp. Set aside.
Sear the Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season beef slices with salt and pepper, then sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned but medium-rare. Let rest.
Make the Sauce: Lower heat to medium. In the same skillet, simmer heavy cream, then whisk in Parmesan and thyme. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Assemble: Top each crostini with a beef slice and drizzle with warm Parmesan cream sauce.
Garnish: Sprinkle with parsley, thyme, or cracked black pepper.
