Bacon Cheeseburger Rice Skillet
This one-pan Bacon Cheeseburger Rice Skillet packs all the flavors of a classic burger into a quick, cheesy, comforting rice dish.
- 1 pound ground beef 80/20 blend
- 1 cup cooked bacon chopped
- ½ medium yellow onion diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 2 cups instant rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6–8 minutes until browned.
Stir in garlic for 1 minute. Drain grease and add seasoned salt.
Pour in tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, rice, and broth. Stir well.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until rice is soft and liquid is mostly gone.
Remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup bacon.
Add remaining cheese and bacon on top. Cover for 2–3 minutes to melt.
Uncover and serve warm. Add extra toppings if you like!
