Bacon And Cheese Crustless Quiche
Bacon and Cheese Crustless Quiche is a simple yet flavorful dish perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even dinner. Made with crispy bacon, melty cheese, and a fluffy egg mixture, it’s rich, satisfying, and gluten-free.
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 6 slices bacon
- ½ cup onion
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp paprika
- 2 tsps fresh parsley or green onions
Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter or non-stick spray.
Cook the bacon and onion: Fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then crumble it. Leave 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet and discard the rest. Sauté the diced onion in the grease for 2-3 minutes until soft.
Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir in the cheese, crumbled bacon, and sautéed onions.
Bake the quiche: Pour the mixture into the greased dish and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the center is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool and serve: Let the quiche rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and enjoy warm.
