Applewood Smoked Turkey Melt With Cranberry Whiskey Glaze
A warm, melty sandwich layered with applewood smoked turkey, sharp cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of tangy cranberry whiskey glaze, all grilled to golden perfection on sourdough bread.
- 8 ounces applewood smoked turkey
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup cranberry whiskey glaze
- 2 tablespoons butter
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough.
Place two slices, butter-side down, in the skillet, layer with smoked turkey and cheddar, and drizzle with cranberry whiskey glaze.
Top with the remaining bread, butter-side up.
Grill until golden on the bottom, about 3–4 minutes, then flip and cook until the other side is crisp and the cheese is melted. Slice in half and serve warm.
