Applewood Smoked Turkey Melt With Cranberry Whiskey Glaze

A warm, melty sandwich layered with applewood smoked turkey, sharp cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of tangy cranberry whiskey glaze, all grilled to golden perfection on sourdough bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces applewood smoked turkey
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup cranberry whiskey glaze
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions
 

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough.
  • Place two slices, butter-side down, in the skillet, layer with smoked turkey and cheddar, and drizzle with cranberry whiskey glaze.
  • Top with the remaining bread, butter-side up.
  • Grill until golden on the bottom, about 3–4 minutes, then flip and cook until the other side is crisp and the cheese is melted. Slice in half and serve warm.
