Apple Fritter Waffle Donuts

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup diced apples
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl. In another bowl, mix eggs, milk, and melted butter, then pour into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Fold in diced apples.
Preheat a waffle maker and spoon in the batter, cooking until golden and crisp. Let cool slightly, then cut into donut rounds.
