Apple Cinnamon Chili Pepper Jam

Apple Cinnamon Chili Pepper Jam blends tender apples, warm spices, and a touch of chili heat into a glossy spread that balances sweet and spicy flavors in a smooth, spoonable texture.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups apples peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 red chili peppers finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 packet 1.75 oz fruit pectin

Instructions
 

  • Combine apples, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and chili peppers in a saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves.
  • Simmer gently for 10 to 12 minutes until apples soften and release juices.
  • Stir in cinnamon, cloves if using, and lemon juice until well blended.
  • Add fruit pectin, raise heat, and boil for 1 to 2 minutes while stirring constantly.
  • Lower heat and simmer 10 to 15 minutes until glossy and spoon coating.
  • Cool slightly, transfer to jars, and store in the refrigerator or can properly.
