Apple Cinnamon Chili Pepper Jam
Apple Cinnamon Chili Pepper Jam blends tender apples, warm spices, and a touch of chili heat into a glossy spread that balances sweet and spicy flavors in a smooth, spoonable texture.
- 3 cups apples peeled and finely chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 red chili peppers finely minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves optional
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 packet 1.75 oz fruit pectin
Combine apples, sugar, apple cider vinegar, and chili peppers in a saucepan and heat until sugar dissolves.
Simmer gently for 10 to 12 minutes until apples soften and release juices.
Stir in cinnamon, cloves if using, and lemon juice until well blended.
Add fruit pectin, raise heat, and boil for 1 to 2 minutes while stirring constantly.
Lower heat and simmer 10 to 15 minutes until glossy and spoon coating.
Cool slightly, transfer to jars, and store in the refrigerator or can properly.
