- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
For the Dough
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or 1 sheet puff pastry thawed if frozen
- 8 soft caramel candies or 8 teaspoons thick caramel sauce
For Brushing

Cook diced apples with butter, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour until thickened; stir in vanilla and cool slightly.
Flatten biscuits or puff pastry, add apple filling and a caramel piece or sauce.
Fold dough over filling, pinch edges, and shape into smooth balls; place seam-side down.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 14–18 min or air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 7–9 min until golden; cool briefly.
Brush warm bombs with butter and roll in cinnamon sugar.
Heat caramel sauce with cream, add a pinch of salt if desired, and drizzle over the bombs.
