Amish Broccoli Salad

With a mix of fresh ingredients and a creamy dressing, it’s an ideal side for potlucks, barbecues, or family dinners.

Ingredients
  

For the salad:

  • 6 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled

For the dressing:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, cheddar cheese, red onion, sunflower seeds, raisins, and bacon and mix well.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and toss until everything is well-coated.
  • Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Enjoy!
