These Air Fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders are crispy, juicy, and glazed in a sweet-savory sauce. They’re quick to prepare, packed with flavor, and perfect for a wholesome family meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders or boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional toppings:
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Fresh chopped parsley for freshness
  • Extra drizzles of honey for extra sweetness

Instructions

  • Step 1: Preheat Your Air FryerSet your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes. Preheating ensures the tenders cook evenly and develop a crisp surface.
  • Step 2: Prepare the Honey Butter Garlic SauceIn a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Divide the mixture in half. Set one portion aside to use later for glazing or dipping.
  • Step 3: Coat the Chicken TendersPlace the chicken tenders in a large bowl. Pour the remaining half of the sauce over the chicken and gently toss to coat every piece evenly. Handle gently to avoid tearing the meat.
  • Step 4: Cook in the Air FryerArrange the coated chicken tenders in a single layer inside the air fryer basket, leaving space between them for proper air circulation. Cook at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure both sides turn golden brown.
  • Step 5: Glaze and ServeOnce fully cooked and golden, brush the tenders with the reserved honey butter garlic sauce. For extra caramelization, pop them back into the air fryer for an additional 1–2 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped parsley and serve hot.
