Air Fryer Bacon Mac Dogs
Air Fryer Bacon Mac Dogs are juicy hot dogs wrapped in crispy bacon, topped with creamy homemade mac and cheese, and finished in the air fryer for a melty, crave-worthy dinner.
For the hot dogs
- 4 wieners
- 4 strips of bacon
- 4 hot dog buns
For the mac and cheese
- 8 oz macaroni noodles
- 10.5 oz condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Boil macaroni according to package directions, drain, and set aside. Preheat air fryer to 380°F. Wrap each wiener in a strip of bacon and air fry for 8 minutes until crisp.
Meanwhile, whisk cheddar cheese soup, heavy cream, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder in a pot over medium heat.
Stir in macaroni until coated. Reduce heat, add shredded cheese, and mix until creamy.
Fill buns with mac and cheese, top with bacon-wrapped wieners, and press gently. Return to air fryer for 3–4 minutes until warm, toasty, and gooey.
