Addictive Spicy Honey Pepper Chicken With Mac And Cheese

Tender honey-garlic pepper chicken baked to glossy perfection, paired with creamy homemade mac and cheese—for a cozy, flavor-packed meal.

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup pure honey
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • Salt to taste

For the Mac and Cheese

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan. Add garlic, then stir in honey and pepper. Remove from heat.
  • Place chicken in a baking dish, pour over half the glaze. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes or until it reaches 165°F.
  • Boil macaroni in salted water for 8–9 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • Melt butter, whisk in flour to make roux. Slowly add milk, cook until thick. Stir in cheese, season with salt.
  • Drizzle chicken with remaining glaze. Serve with mac and cheese.
