7Up Cherry Dump Cake

A simple baked dessert made with cherry pie filling, cake mix, and lemon lime soda, creating a bubbly, golden, fruit filled treat with minimal effort.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans cherry pie filling 21 ounce each
  • 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 ounce
  • 2 cups 7 Up lemon lime soda

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish
  • Spread about 1½ cans cherry pie filling evenly in the dish, reserve the rest
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the cherry layer
  • Pour 2 cups 7 Up over the cake mix, gently moisten without fully mixing
  • Dollop remaining cherry filling on top
  • Bake for about 60 minutes until golden, cover with foil if browning too fast
  • Cool completely for at least 2 hours before serving
