7Up Cherry Dump Cake
A simple baked dessert made with cherry pie filling, cake mix, and lemon lime soda, creating a bubbly, golden, fruit filled treat with minimal effort.
Ingredients
- 2 cans cherry pie filling 21 ounce each
- 1 box yellow cake mix 15.25 ounce
- 2 cups 7 Up lemon lime soda
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish
- Spread about 1½ cans cherry pie filling evenly in the dish, reserve the rest
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the cherry layer
- Pour 2 cups 7 Up over the cake mix, gently moisten without fully mixing
- Dollop remaining cherry filling on top
- Bake for about 60 minutes until golden, cover with foil if browning too fast
- Cool completely for at least 2 hours before serving
