2 Ingredient Apple Pie Donut Holes

Simple, crispy donut holes made with just two main ingredients, coated in cinnamon sugar for a warm apple pie flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • cups self-rising flour
  • ¾ cup cinnamon applesauce
  • Oil for frying
  • Cinnamon sugar for coating

Instructions
 

  • Mix self-rising flour and applesauce until a thick dough forms, avoiding overmixing
  • Heat oil to 350°F in a deep pan, about 2 inches deep
  • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and carefully drop into hot oil
  • Fry 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy
  • Remove and drain on paper towels
  • Let cool for 1 to 2 minutes
  • Roll in cinnamon sugar and serve immediately
