2 Ingredient Apple Pie Donut Holes
Simple, crispy donut holes made with just two main ingredients, coated in cinnamon sugar for a warm apple pie flavor.
- 1½ cups self-rising flour
- ¾ cup cinnamon applesauce
- Oil for frying
- Cinnamon sugar for coating
Mix self-rising flour and applesauce until a thick dough forms, avoiding overmixing
Heat oil to 350°F in a deep pan, about 2 inches deep
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and carefully drop into hot oil
Fry 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy
Remove and drain on paper towels
Let cool for 1 to 2 minutes
Roll in cinnamon sugar and serve immediately
